Julie Nordstrom

Julie Nordstrom is a current board member of the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, member of the University of Washington Medicine Advisory Board, former chair of the UW Medicine Board and Founding Co-Chair of the University Of Washington Department Of Global Health Leadership Council.

She currently works on global health initiatives with the University of Washington and is a founding Co-Chair of the Department of Global Health’s Leadership Council. Julie also previously served on the board of Seattle Children’s Home.

Julie is a current Trustee for Save the Children and Ethical Apparel Africa Foundation. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington and a law degree from Seattle University. She practiced law with the firm of Stafford, Frey, Cooper and Stewart

Julie joined the Board in 2019 and serves on the Executive and Nominations & Governance Committees. She became Chair of the Head Start Board in 2020.
