Luciana Bonifacio
Chief Development Officer
Luciana Bonifacio is Chief Development Officer at Save the Children. In this role, she oversees the agency’s efforts to mobilize private support for Save the Children’s domestic and international programs. Under her leadership, the organization has successfully established and expanded partnerships with foundations, major donors and the corporate sector, representing upwards of $200 million a year as well as countless non-financial contributions to accelerate the organization’s growth.
Luciana joined Save the Children in 2000, and personally established or expanded partnerships with companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, Starbucks and The Walt Disney Company. She also served as Chair of Save the Children’s Global Corporate Partnerships Group, helping to advance a unified and ambitious approach to corporate engagement across the global organization. Today, she co-chairs Save the Children’s Partnerships and Philanthropy Leadership Group to bring the best knowledge and focus to private donor engagement throughout the Save the Children movement.
An early leader in the organization’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion work and a member of Save the Children’s Latinx Employee Affinity Group, Luciana is committed to increasing talent diversity across the organization. She currently serves as The Senior Leadership Team sponsor to the agency’s DEI Council.
Born in Argentina, Luciana earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Buenos Aires, where she started her professional career in the fashion industry.
