6 Relaxation Activities That Can Help to Calm Kids During Times of Anxiety
Our experts share relaxation and stress-reducing activities for children. Learn how to help manage anxiety in the wake of an emergency like coronavirus outbreak.
When the COVID-19 pandemic hit the United States, more than 55 million school children from K-12 were sent home to learn. Around the world, children in some of the poorest countries have lost up to 20% of their lifetime days in school during the pandemic.
It’s essential for every child to continue reading and learning, but even more so this summer after months of school closings and learning disruptions. That's why, from the beginning, Save the Children has been working around the clock to provide support and free learning resources to students everywhere.
If you have access to the internet at home, here is a list of fun, free educational websites for kids as well as phone and tablet apps to help keep kids learning during the coronavirus outbreak. Most sites include reading and math games, videos, stories and more and all indicate what are age and grade appropriate.
We’ve organized this list into two categories – preschool and elementary school.
