Coronavirus and Kids: Resources from Save the Children
The COVID-19 pandemic has put an entire generation of children at risk of missing out on school, physical and emotional harm and their next meal – with devastating, lifelong consequences.
Since the earliest days of the pandemic, Save the Children has been on the ground and in rural America’s poorest communities, where we’re often the only child-focused nonprofit. We’ve greatly expanded our programming, for the first time delivering nourishing meals to children who can no longer rely on school for food, as well as funding food pantries and food delivery services.
In fact, we’ve delivered more nutritious meals combined with learning resources to children in rural America during this pandemic than any other nonprofit. Together, we can make change that protects a generation of children and the future we share.
