Penguin Random House

Penguin Random House:

Through an innovative partnership with global publisher Penguin Random House, Save the Children leveraged Skills-Based Volunteers in its School-Community Partnership for Education (SCOPE) project in Rwanda, which aims to improve children's literacy outcomes. 

Two senior executives from Penguin Random House spent a week working with local Rwandan publishers instructing them on what it means to be a professional publisher and how to balance the various elements of a book - from the story to the illustrations to the design - to produce high quality children's books.
