About the Advocacy Summit
Children are our future. Yet many don’t have access to basic needs or receive the protection they deserve. They can’t vote, and their voices alone are too soft or distant to reach those who can help. You have the power to change that — you can be a voice for children. Join us for our annual Advocacy Summit in Washington, D.C. on March 26 - 28, Washington D.C.. Learn more.
What is Advocacy Summit:
The Advocacy Summit is a three-day experience of dynamic sessions, exciting speakers and meetings with your elected leaders. The summit provides a unique opportunity for our supporters to delve deeper into the issues, receive training from leading experts and act to ensure that matters critical to children’s lives and futures are prioritized by our elected leaders.
The Advocacy Summit convenes congressional leaders, journalists, policy experts and individuals just like you committed to a shared vision for the future of children. Whether you have attended the summit before or are attending for the first time, you will find this summit inspiring, helpful and valuable. You’ll return home as an even stronger voice for children.
Advocacy is an important way to raise issues with your elected officials, and to create lasting change in the lives of children in need. By emailing your Representative, tweeting your Senator or visiting Capitol Hill for Advocacy Summit, you can help push policy makers to ensure children are safe, healthy, educated and free from poverty and hunger. When you speak up, you are the voice of vulnerable children and families who most need to be heard.
