The COVID-19 pandemic has put already vulnerable communities in Nigeria at even greater risk.
After a decade-long conflict, 10.6 million people in Nigeria's northeast region are in need of urgent humanitarian aid. The brutal conflict has caused massive displacement of nearly 2 million people, mostly women and children. With health and education systems already in crisis, children are fighting to survive.
Your urgent support today can provide lifesaving relief to one of the most severe crises in the world.
Help Save Children in Nigeria
In Nigeria, up to 90,000 children could die this year from severe malnutrition. The causes are many — civil conflict, severe food insecurity, disease, floods and displacement. Beyond these challenges, a recent cholera outbreak is further imperiling the lives of Nigeria’s children. The situation is growing worse by the day – if we don’t act now, many more children risk losing their lives.
