How do I donate bitcoin and other cryptocurrency to Save the Children for Christmas?

What is a Non-Fungible Token (NFT) and does Save the Children accept NFT donations?
NFT stands for Non-Fungible Token. NFT is a smart contract typically built on the Ethereum blockchain, a decentralized ledger where public transactions are stored. An NFT is like a digital certificate of authenticity that serves as proof of ownership. Supporters can donate the proceeds from the sale of an NFT to Save the Children through our cryptocurrency donation page if donors convert it to one of the cryptocurrencies that we accept such as ETH. If you are an artist, athlete or public figure who would like to sell or donate NFT proceeds to Save the Children, send an inquiry to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Is my cryptocurrency holiday charitable donation tax deductible?
Yes, your cryptocurrency donation is tax deductible!* Save the Children offers supporters who want to donate cryptocurrency to charity the ability to give in a tax-efficient way. The IRS classifies cryptocurrency donations as property, meaning they are not subject to capital gains tax and are tax-deductible. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the fullest extent permitted by law. For example, for donors in the United States, the IRS has classified bitcoin as property for tax purposes. This means that when someone donates bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit like Save the Children, donors do not have to pay capital gains tax and it is tax-deductible if you provide your email address.
*Please consult your tax advisor. You can donate anonymously but you will not receive a tax receipt unless you provide at least your email address.
Why does Save the Children accept cryptocurrency as a charity donation?

Taking a MUNCH Out of Child Poverty
What is more fulfilling than taking a munch out of a donut? Taking a munch out of child poverty with technology! MUNCH is an innovative cryptocurrency project that allows holders to distribute part of their crypto investment to causes that need it.
MUNCH has created a novel financial system that makes giving back to community-chosen causes a standard part of every transaction. Every MUNCH transaction automatically donates a percentage of the transaction fee to a community-chosen charitable cause. The process is automated, and thanks to blockchain technology, is able to be 100% transparent and verifiable at any time.
The MUNCH community has so far donated more than 1,000 ETH to various nonprofits and since Save the Children was selected as their charity of choice, they have donated over 30 ETH, sold for a value of over $120,000. They are now expanding their donation ecosystem to help connect more crypto projects with causes like the Save Children and have generated even more donations through their brand new Charity Circle project.
