Help Children in Vanuatu

A five-year old schoolgirl, wears her new school bag with pride. 3 months after a cyclone devastated her school on the island of Tongoa, her school reopened and she was able to return to Kindergarten. The community rebuilt the structure from scavenged wood and bricks; Save the Children provided tarpaulins, books, toys and games – plus a new school bag, presented to each child on their first day back.

Save the Children provides emergency relief and vital programs for girls and boys in Vanuatu. Learn more and find out how you can help.
