Our teams in Gaza are still dedicated to providing services every day.

  • A definitive ceasefire and full humanitarian access in Gaza is needed to prevent further death and suffering.
  • Despite enormous challenges, our dedicated teams are providing health services in Deir Al Balah and Khan Younis, providing drinking water and running nutrition sites to treat malnutrition.
  • All children affected by the violence in Israel and Gaza must be supported to find safety.

Save the Children's Humanitarian Response in the West Bank and Gaza

As of June 2025, Save the Children and its partners have reached more than 1.5 million people across the West Bank and Gaza.

The crisis in Gaza has grown to unimaginable levels in the 21 months.  Today, the lives of the 1.1 million children in Gaza are urgently threatened by spiraling acute food insecurity. Data* shows that 93% of people in Gaza are experiencing crisis-level acute food insecurity or worse. Humanitarians must be given unimpeded, immediate access to deliver life-saving aid and address the scale of the deadly crisis. We have been clear on what will save lives: a definitive ceasefire, the unconditional release of all hostages and full aid access.

Alongside local partners, we’ve delivered the following lifesaving programs:

A 30-year-old father living in northern Gaza with his pregnant wife and two-year-old child, said:

“I don’t know how to feed my family. There’s no food. I have no choice but to eat things you would never imagine. It’s unfair.  It’s desperate here—chaos. We don’t know what awaits us. No one is living a dignified life. Why is this happening to us?”
