TJ Maxx has been a longtime supporter of Save the Children’s literacy efforts in the U.S, and TJ Maxx is proud to continue their supporting programs to help children and their caregivers in rural America.
Our relationship first began with TJ Maxx’s sponsorship of children who participate in Save the Children’s national education programs in the U.S. Over the years, the partnership has grown to include an annual in-store fundraising campaign, sales of branded merchandise, Associate engagement opportunities, emergency/disaster funding and an investment in our global breakthroughs for children and caregivers. For over 40 years of partnership, together TJ Maxx and Save the Children have served as a powerful force for children— Achieving increased visibility, supporting communities, and uniting Associates around engagement opportunities in corporate philanthropy.
TJ Maxx and Save the Children: Cause-Related Marketing
The TJ Maxx and Save the Children partnership involves a nationwide, annual, in-store fundraising promotion at the end of summer, as well as the sale of branded reusable bags throughout the year and a portion of sales supports Save the Children’s programs. By leveraging TJ Maxx’s store network, passionate associates and generous customers, the company has raised millions of dollars to fund early learning, literacy and health programs for children in need.

TJ Maxx and Save the Children: Investing in U.S. Programs
Through TJ Maxx’s Maxx You Project, a program aimed at empowering women to live their best, most authentic lives, the brand recently expanded its commitment to Save the Children by launching the Maxx You Grants. These grants support caregivers - who are predominantly women - and childcare providers to ensure they are trained, resourced, and supported. This investment allows Save the Children to affect change more broadly in the communities we serve, addressing some of the most pressing issues facing rural America.
