Save the Children responds to emergencies around the world that put at risk the survival, protection, and well-being of significant numbers of children. Over 75 years of experience has taught us that being better prepared for emergencies helps save lives. That's why we are working to pre-position plastic sheeting, household and hygiene kits, portable water containers and shelter repair material in vulnerable areas which will allow Save the Children to provide essential life saving resources immediately to crisis-affected vulnerable children and their families.
Save the Children is currently responding to the devastating cyclone in Myanmar, the global food crisis, the affects of a severe winter in Tajikistan, and ongoing violence in Kenya. Learn more by clicking on a link below.

On-going Emergencies
Save the Children’s ability to respond quickly to emergencies like this and other future emergencies where significant numbers of children are at risk greatly depends on our available resources. By contributing to the Children's Emergency Fund, you enable us to prepare for and respond immediately to children and families who urgently need our help when disasters strike.
