Emergency Hotspots: Protecting Children from Harm

Hotspots Map: Where We Are Reaching Children in Recent Emergencies

What You Can Do

One of our key priorities is protecting children in emergencies around the world. We're on the ground now, in El Salvador, India, Indonesia, KenyaPakistan, the Philippines, and Vietnam, delivering assistance very quickly, often with local staff in advance of a disaster, and we stay on the scene long afterwards.

Click on the Hotspots Map above for more information about each current emergency.

You can help Save the Children respond to emergencies around the world that put at risk the survival, protection, and well-being of significant numbers of children. By contributing to our Children’s Emergency Fund, you enable us to prepare and respond immediately to children and families who urgently need our help when disasters strike.

Child Hunger Crisis Around the World

In addition to our current emergency response, Save the Children is calling on world leaders to quickly implement a promised $22 billion global food security initiative to address the worsening global child hunger crisis. Get more facts about child hunger.
