A devastating hunger crisis is affecting millions of vulnerable people in Nigeria, Yemen, South Sudan, Somalia, and neighboring countries. More than 20 million people are facing the threat of starvation and famine. Nearly 1.4 million children are severely malnourished and many are at brink of death without immediate help. In Yemen alone, the lack of food and basic resources is so dire that a child under five dies every 10 minutes.

If generous people like you help us take immediate action, then we can avert the worst from happening.

Global Emergency Response Coalition

In response to the unprecedented scale and severity of devastating hunger affecting millions of people a first-of-its-kind U.S. Coalition was created. The Global Emergency Response Coalition is a lifesaving humanitarian alliance made up of eight of the world’s largest and most well-respected U.S.-based international aid organizations, including Save the Children, CARE, International Medical Corps, International Rescue Committee, Mercy Corps, Oxfam, Plan International and World Vision.

Americans are the most generous people in the world: The Global Emergency Response Coalition is urgently calling upon American citizens to help save the lives of children and their families from this deadly hunger crisis.
