One year after COVID-19 was declared a pandemic, the outbreak has robbed millions of children of their childhoods and the chance to build a better future. More than 2.4 million lives have been lost, as the virus continues to spread globally.

Now, the roll out of COVID-19 vaccines has begun in high-income countries. But no one is safe until everyone is safe.

As a world leader in child survival and health, Save the Children teams across the globe work to provide children with lifesaving vaccines. Today, in partnership with the World Health Organization and others, we’re working hard to fulfill the Global Vaccine Action Plan – a universal agreement to vaccinate more people.

We urgently need your support to help ensure the COVID vaccine is distributed based on needs and not on wealth. Join our campaign now.

I believe...

  1. It is vital that the COVID vaccine is distributed equitably in the U.S. and around the world.
  2. Governments of wealthier countries should not hoard the limited initial supply of available vaccines.
  3. Vaccines are one of the most successful and cost-effective health investments in history.
  4. Children from marginalized groups, including girls, child refugees, street children and children with disabilities, should not be denied access to immunization.
