COVID-19 changed everything for children.
Here in the U.S. most kids are back in school, but 6 months behind on learning. They may never catch up. And around the world, Covid has made hunger, poverty and malnutrition even worse.
After an air raid destroyed her family home in Yemen, Noor’s parents made the difficult decision to flee to a displacement camp with Noor* and her four siblings. Once safe, it was time to seek treatment for their listless baby who could barely raise her head. They brought Noor to a Save the Children-supported hospital where she was weighed and measured – and diagnosed with severe, acute malnutrition. Today, Noor is a healthy, happy toddler who smiles and reaches for toys – the way healthy babies do – thanks to support from people like you.
This holiday season the need has never been greater due to Covid. Together, let’s make change for children.
