An exhausted one-year-old sleeps soundly, armed wrapped around a stuffed animal. The boy is resting at a transit shelter in New Mexico. Today, families who have been released from U.S. Customs and Border Patrol are able to receive food, water and clothing as well as other donated supplies, including children’s stuffed animals, in transit shelters where Save the Children is working. U.S. Border Crisis Children's Relief Fund
We urgently need your help to reach every last child in need. A donation to our U.S. Border Crisis Children’s Relief Fund will support our programmatic and advocacy work at the border and ensure that children at the border are being treated with care and kindness. Donate Supplies Directly to Children and Families at the U.S. Border

For 100 years, Save the Children has protected the world’s children from harm and ensured their rights are upheld. Today, we are continuing this important work at the southern U.S. Border.

Displaced children and families who have fled their homes due to circumstances outside of their control, particularly related to conflict, violence, and poverty, are arriving at the southern U.S. Border every day. Families are being separated. Children are being detained.

We know these actions have a significant adverse effects on a child’s development and social and emotional well-being. That’s why Save the Children, through the ongoing support of our donors, is growing the capacity of local respite centers on the southern U.S. Border that serve children and families after being released by U.S. Customs & Border Patrol.

We are providing our renowned child-friendly spaces, where kids can be kids again, in a safe place to express themselves and begin to cope. We are also operating mother-and-baby areas where moms can rest, feed and care for their infants. Our child protection experts are providing technical training to local caregivers about how to safely serve children.

By donating to Save the Children’s U.S. Border Crisis Children’s Relief Fund, you can help ensure children at the border are being treated with care and kindness. Additionally, you can donate supplies, including stuffed animals, clothing, diapers and toiletries, directly to children and families at the border. Because changing a life lasts a lifetime.
