Watch our video above to see how child sponsorship works to transform the lives of children in the United States and around the world.

What if a Child's Future Depended on a Website Visit?

A few clicks can mean the world to a child in need

Children all over the globe face life-threatening conditions, poverty, hunger, violence. Save the Children believes they deserve better. By sponsoring a child, you can help ensure they have the best chance for success – with a healthy start, the opportunity to learn, and protection from harm.

Just a few clicks can help change a child’s future.

How Sponsorship Works

Child sponsorship is a way of giving that connects one compassionate person (like you!) with one child in need. Sponsoring a child gives her the chance to grow up healthy, educated and safe – forever changing the course of her life and future. And you just might find that it changes you, too.

3. Watch your child's life change
You'll get to know your child and soon experience the true joy of helping transform a child's life and future. We'll keep you updated on progress, too.

When you sponsor a child, Save the Children combines your monthly support with those of other sponsors, rather than giving them directly to your sponsored child — creating a "ripple effect" of positive change throughout your child's community.
