
Fairfield-Based Save the Children Names Jennifer Roberti as Chief Marketing Officer
FAIRFIELD, Conn. (June 18, 2018) — Save the Children announced today that marketing veteran Jennifer Roberti will join the organization as chief marketing officer, a new position within Save the Children. She will report directly to Carolyn Miles, Save the Children president & CEO. Roberti will oversee marketing, communications, mass market fundraising and sponsorship for the global humanitarian organization.

With a proven record of driving revenue, digital engagement and brand awareness, she is uniquely qualified to grow and engage our supporter base more deeply in our mission to reach every last child.”
Roberti has more than 20 years of brand, marketing and communications experience across countries, cultures and channels. Most recently, she was the senior vice president of marketing and communications of UNICEF USA, focused on their integrated marketing and digital activities. While at UNICEF USA, she increased digital revenue substantially and overhauled their marketing strategy and brand positioning.
Prior to her work with UNICEF, Roberti held the role of Executive, Group Marketing for MTN, Africa’s largest mobile phone operator. There, she helped lead the telecommunications company through tremendous growth, reaching 223 million subscribers in 22 countries across Africa and the Middle East. Under Roberti’s leadership, MTN brand recognition grew to become Africa’s first truly global brand, as recognized by BrandZ Top 100 Global Brands. She also led MTN’s online engagement strategy from it’s infancy to 10 million fans. Before MTN, Roberti worked in the advertising sector for Y&R.

Roberti, a Connecticut native who will be based in Fairfield, Conn., holds a bachelor's degree in History from the University of Chicago.
