Save the Children
The Young Patrons (YP) of Save the Children are young professionals and philanthropic leaders in the New York City metropolitan area who champion the cause of children and actively seek to raise awareness of the challenges that children face around the world. We are dedicated to projects that align with Save the Children’s mission and collectively support the needs of the world's poorest children, with specific focus on education.
Today, an unprecedented number of children are on the move. During any emergency, education is typically the first service interrupted and the last to be restored. The Young Patrons are more committed than ever to making sure that displaced children have rapid access to learning opportunities and a strong start to their own recovery. The Return to Learning Initiative aims to restore learning opportunities for refugee children within 30 days of displacement. With your help, we can ensure that education is a core component of emergency services that all refugee children receive, along with food, water and shelter. We host fundraisers, meetings and events throughout the year with the same goal: to spread the word and commit to transforming the lives of children and the future we share with them.
As Young Patrons, we seek to leverage our collective network and fundraising capabilities to support the cause of opportunity for all children. We’ve dedicated our efforts to Save the Children’s Return to Learning Initiative because we value the significance of a quality, uninterrupted education and look forward to a future where every child in the world has access to such an experience.
