IKEA and Save the Children Partnership

Since 1994, Save the Children and the IKEA Foundation have teamed up to provide children with a healthier and more secure livelihood through quality education. By maximizing emergency relief funding and finding long term sustainable solutions, true empowerment is being actualized.

In addition to global education programs in underprivileged communities, Save the Children and IKEA have worked together on international child labor policies and the needs of children right here in the United States.

IKEA also supports Save the Children through in-kind donations in times of crisis and through the provision of SUNNAN solar lamps to support children’s education in places where electricity is scarce.

This year, Save the Children and UNICEF have partnered once again with IKEA in hopes of gifting education to millions of kids in 20 countries. During the annual holiday campaign, IKEA will donate one euro (approximately $1.35 US Dollars) for every IKEA Soft Toy or children's book purchased from November 1 through December 24.
