Unfortunately, in many nations, commonplace solutions are out of reach for desperate parents trapped in crushing poverty. Even right here in the United States, one in five children lives in poverty. The good news is that, thanks to supporters like us, Save the Children can provide programs that enable parents — and their children — to access basic care that can change young lives.
