The goal of the Make a Difference Campaign is to gather your friends, family and online community to fundraise around themes that inspire you and the people in your life. By generating much-needed donations of as little as $10, $20 or $50, you and volunteers like you can make an enormous difference to Save the Children’s life-changing work.

Download the Pre-written fundraising email we’ve created for you. The email explains the Make a Difference Campaign, outlines some of the ways donations to Save the Children are used, and offers a link that makes it easy for your friends and family to donate online. You can personalize the email as much as you wish, including adding your personal fundraising goal.

Go to http://www.firstgiving.com/make_a_difference to create your personal fundraising account. This site offers tools and expertise to help you connect with friends and familyand make fundraising more fun.The homepage will give you specific instructions on how to get your page — and your personal fundraising thermometer — up and running so you and your donors can keep track of your progress.

Fundraise by Mail with a Printable Kit

Go to www.savethechildren.org/mad and download the printable toolkit. The kit includes an instruction manual detailing everything you need to know to start your campaign. You’ll also find a set of pre-written fundraising letters and a campaign list that will help you track family and friends who are able to help.

Remember, It Doesn’t Take Much to Make a Difference

If 500 Save the Children supporters like you each rallied just 10 $10 contributors, the Make a Difference Campaign would raise $50,000 for children's programs, enabling thousands of children around the world to enjoy the better futures they deserve.
