Jennifer Garner
Promoting a fundamental principle that all children deserve an equal start in life, Jennifer Garner – actor, advocate and mother of two – is an Artist Ambassador for Save the Children's U.S. Programs. The U.S. division of Save the Children operates early education, literacy, nutritional and disaster relief programs that give a vital boost to children in struggling families.
Garner will focus on advocating for the expansion of the organization's early education program. This public-private partnership brings highly trained experts into homes, providing parents with child rearing and cognitive development tools for infants and toddlers.

America Ferrera
 Emmy- and Golden Globe-Award winning actress America Ferrera, star of ABC Television's popular series Ugly Betty, is a Save the Children Artist Ambassador and a champion for early childhood education, especially for those in marginalized communities in developing countries.
"I couldn't be more excited to support Save the Children in its effort to educate children around the world. When a child learns, the entire community benefits," said Ferrera. "I believe that our world can become a much more productive and peaceful place when every child is given the opportunity to attend school."

Cokie Roberts
Author, News Commentator and Save the Children Trustee, Cokie Roberts has covered Congress, politics and public policy as a commentator for ABC News for over fifteen years. She also serves as Senior News Analyst for National Public Radio and has won countless awards, including the highest honor in public radio, the Edward R. Murrow Award.
Over her 30 year career in broadcasting, Roberts has received numerous other broadcasting awards, including three Emmys, and has been inducted into the Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame. She was cited by the American Women in Radio and Television as one of the fifty greatest women in the history of broadcasting.
She recently revised and updated her best-selling book, We Are Our Mothers’ Daughters – a popular account of women’s roles and relationships throughout American history. Roberts has also written another book, Founding Mothers, the stories of the women who raised this nation.
She has been Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of Save the Children since February 2005. She has been a member since September 2003 and serves on the Nominations and Executive Committees.

Brent Stirton
Senior Staff Photographer, Getty Images, Brent Stirton specializes in documentary work and is known for his alternative approaches. He travels an average of 10 months of the year on assignment. Stirton generously volunteered his time and extraordinary skill to document early childhood development programs in Nepal for the State of the World’s Mothers 2009 report. He undertook this assignment in memory of and as a tribute to his young friend John Alexander, who died suddenly in 2007 while on assignment with the Discovery Network television program Koppel in China.
Brent’s work is published by: National Geographic Magazine, National Geographic Adventure, The Discovery Channel, Newsweek, The New York Times Magazine, The London Sunday Times Magazine, Le Express, Le Monde 2, GQ, Geo, Stern, CNN, and many other respected international titles.
Brent works for the Global Business Coalition on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. He has been a long time photographer for the World Wide Fund for Nature, shooting campaigns on sustainability and the environment. He also works for the Ford and Clinton Foundations, the Nike Foundation and the World Economic Forum.
In 2008, Brent was named International Photographer of the Year by the Lucie Awards, which are often referred to as the "Oscars" of photography. Brent has received awards from the Overseas Press Club, the Frontline Club, the Deadline Club, Days Japan, P.O.Y, China International Photo Awards, also the Lead Awards, Graphis, American Photography, American Photo and the American Society of Publication Designers as well as the London Association of Photographers. He has five awards from the World Press Photo Foundation and has also been recognized by the United Nations for his work on the environment and in the field of HIV/AIDS.
