ACCESS:  The ACCESS Program is a 5-year, global program cooperative agreement from USAID that aims to improve the health and survival of mothers and their newborns.  JHPIEGO implements the program in partnership with Save the Children, Constella Futures, the Academy for Educational Development, the American College of Nurse-Midwives and Interchurch Medical Assistance.  ACCESS works with USAID missions, governments, nongovernmental organizations, local communities and partner agencies in developing countries to achieve sustainable improvements in maternal and newborn health and survival.  ACCESS seeks to achieve large-scale advances in the health of women and newborns by expanding coverage, access and use of maternal and newborn health services through improving household health behaviors and practices.  Visit their website at www.accesstohealth.org

MCHIP-Maternal and Child Health Integrated Program: MCHIP is the USAID Bureau for Global Health's flagship maternal, neonatal and child health program (MNCH), which focuses on reducing maternal, neonatal and child mortality and accelerating progress toward achieving Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) 4 and 5.  Awarded to Jhpiego and partners in September 2008, MCHIP works with USAID missions, governments, nongovernmental organizations, local communities and partner agencies in developing countries to implement programs at scale for sustainable improvements in MNCH. http://www.jhpiego.org/whatwedo/mchip.htm

The Policy Dialogue-PDI:  The Policy Dialogue and Implementation Project is a recently awarded partnership to improve the enabling environment for health, making it possible for men and women around the world to obtain and use the information and services they need for better health, especially in the areas of family planning/reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, and maternal health.  Save the Children will focus efforts on social mobilization/civil society mobilization, and maternal/newborn health policy.

TASC3:  The Technical Assistance and Support Contract (TASC3) is an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC) with 15 prime contractors. TASC3 will work worldwide and will have two separate tiers of contractors.  The first tier, TASC3-Global Health, will contain multiple prime contractors and many subcontractors, covering the entire spectrum of USAID-supported health, infectious diseases, and population areas. The second tier, TASC3-HIV/AIDS Research, will contain multiple contractors and a score of subcontractors, specializing in HIV/AIDS research activities.
