Save the Children Awarded Charity Navigator’s “Exceptional” Four-Star Rating for a Sixth Consecutive Year
For a sixth consecutive year, Save the Children has received Charity Navigator's prestigious four-star rating for sound fiscal management.
The achievement places Save the Children among the top 1 percent of charities to receive at least six consecutive four-star ratings from Charity Navigator, the nation's largest charity evaluator.
In a recent letter announcing the designation, Charity Navigator president, Trent Stamp, said that Save the Children had received the rating for "its ability to efficiently manage and grow its finances." He went on to say "This 'exceptional' designation from Charity Navigator differentiates Save the Children from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust."
"Thanks to the generosity of countless donors, Save the Children is making a tremendous difference in the lives of children in need across the globe," said Charles MacCormack, president of Save the Children. "Achieving Charity Navigator's four-star rating validates Save the Children's consistent, tireless work to put every donation to good use."
