Some of the Women and Children That Save the Children helps.Since 1932, Save the Children has worked to make real and lasting change in the lives of children in need. Seventy-five years of experience working hand-in-hand with families and communities at home and abroad has taught us that poverty need not be a life sentence. Save the Children's internationally respected community development approach has nurtured the seeds of hope for millions of people.

Our work is both inspiring and challenging, with real results for children and families in need. Save the Children works in more than 50 countries, including the United States, and serves more than 33 million children and 32 million others working to save and improve children’s lives, including parents, community members, local organizations and government agencies.

There are other ways we are unique. Children are at the center of all that we do in work that takes us primarily to the poorest parts of the world, including Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Eurasia, Latin America, the Middle East and the United States. We always work in partnership with families, communities and governments, as well as with individuals, corporations and businesses, foundations, nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) and governments — so that programs have long-term impact and can be independently sustained. We sometimes are the only NGO reaching out to children in places considered too remote, too difficult or too dangerous, such as pockets of poverty in Appalachia, the Mississippi Delta, American Indian reservations at home, in Bhutan and abroad.

You can see why to successfully perform our mission our goal is to attract, motivate, and retain the best people in the right positions. We hire deeply committed, talented and experienced individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of children worldwide. If you would like to  learn more about current career opportunities.
