Activities – Here are a few ideas for activities that should add some more fun to your shower.
Build a memory box or time capsule for the baby. Ask your guests to bring something associated with the year it will be born so that in years to come your child can look back at its birth year and know what was happening in the world.
Suggest that everyone bring their favorite mothering advice to share with the mother-to-be.
Design a scrapbook for the baby. Ask guests to bring: pictures, photos, poems, advice, stories/memories about motherhood – whatever they wish to build a scrapbook at the shower.
Share the joys of your family traditions. Bring everyone together by talking about the traditions that make your family (or your mother) special.
Give your favorite children’s book. Ask guests to bring their favorite books to give to the mother-to-be and share with the group at the party.
