Let's Compound Our Interest

In finance and economics, compound interest is an easy way to make your money do more, yielding a far greater result than would simple interest alone. By compounding, your money sees exponential growth. Here, in much the same vein, charitable donations by one individual, the principal individual, aim to galvanize others to act. The original donation then moves from being simple charity, to compound charity. Through peer-to-peer networking and crowd-funding, each participant, donating preferably on a recurring basis, will reach out to friends, family, coworkers, total strangers, anyone and everyone. Building this interest will net far greater results. Let's galvanize action for an incredibly worthy cause.

Our campaign with the Against Malaria Foundation is still going strong, on pace to meet its $5,000 goal in the very near future ( However, the tragedy of the Syrian crisis, especially its effects on the most innocent among us, simply cannot be ignored. That is why, we have decided to launch our second campaign concurrently.

At this point, over 10,000 children have been killed, according to the United Nations. The eyes of countless more have witnessed unimaginable death and destruction first-hand. These poor souls are left to survive, themselves enduring "unspeakable and unacceptable" levels of suffering daily, as UNSYG Ban Ki-moon recently said. Right now, 5 million Syrian children, many seeking shelter in already fragile neighboring countries, are in need of assistance. The conflict "has resulted in countless killings and the maiming of children, and has obstructed [their] access to education and health services." Let's do a little to offset this terror.

There is no better place to help than right here. Save the Children is currently a 4-star Exceptional-rated charity by and gives it an A+.

Let's compound our interest, our charity, to reduce their suffering.
