Save the Children Licensing Program
The Save the Children Licensing program was established in 1992 when an exclusive line of neckties, featuring original artwork created by children was produced. The neckties were an instant success! Shortly thereafter, a variety of new licensees quickly came on board and the Save the Children Licensing Program was born.
Save the Children enters licensing relationships with companies in consumer-related industries, with a goal of fundraising and creating a significant income stream to support Save the Children's work worldwide. The business-building benefits are clear — given equal price and quality, 86 percent* of consumers will purchase products which support causes they care about.
Why Choose Save the Children as a Licensing Partner?
Save the Children has been and will continue to be a long-term property because it is based on the mission to create real and lasting change for children in need, not a trend or fashion fad which will likely fall out of favor quickly.
These are some of the wonderful licensing partnerships that have helped bring a better life to children in need in the United States and around the world as of July 2008:
