The National Father's Day/Mother's Day Council is a not-for-profit organization that strives to heighten the meaning and observance of Father's and Mother's Day, raise funds for philanthropic purposes and present Father of the Year/Outstanding Mother Awards to deserving mothers and fathers of high accomplishment in their chosen fields who have also exhibited enormous achievement as parents.
This year, Save the Children was chosen as the beneficiary of both the Outstanding Mother's Awards and the Father of the Year events — a wonderful first in the history of our four-year partnership! Contributions from the luncheons, including a gift from The Sani Family Foundation, Inc., were earmarked to support Save the Children's U.S. programs.
